8:00 AM pick up from your hotel and leave the bustling energy of Saigon behind by taking the Cat Lai Ferry. Avoid the dense city highway traffic by starting your first 35 km ride through the relatively quiet back roads of Nhon Trach, surrounded by green rubber plantations. Hop into the support vehicle to transfer past the congested parts of National Highway 20. Unload the bikes near Tan Phu and cycle the remaining 20 km along peaceful countryside roads heading toward the Dong Nai River bank. Catch a 5-minute ferry cross into the park headquarters.

Wake up early to the sound of birds and tackle a morning 25 km ride on the flat, hard-packed dirt tracks and single trails inside Nam Cat Tien National Park, cycling beneath giant century-old banyan trees. Exit the park and take on a challenging rolling-hill route toward the base of the highlands. After a brief lunch transfer up the steep, vehicle-heavy Bao Loc Pass, unload your bikes at the top. Cycle another 40 km from Di Linh through gorgeous coffee and tea plantations, encountering moderate climbs as the air crisps up. Transfer the final stretch into the romantic mountain city of Da Lat.

Push uphill for 10 km toward the agricultural valley of Trai Mat to see the vibrant vegetable and flower greenhouses. Enjoy an afternoon coasting back downhill into the center for locally sourced coffee and a free evening at the night market.

Prepare for the ultimate downhill experience. Ride out of Da Lat through pine-covered slopes before transferring a short distance to the precipice of the Dai Ninh Pass. From here, gravity does the heavy lifting. Enjoy an epic, winding 30 km descent down the mountain flank with expansive views of the valley below. At the bottom, ride through peaceful Cham ethnic minority villages, cashew orchards, and hydro-power canals. The final 30 km shifts to flat coastal terrain with refreshing sea breezes leading straight to the iconic sand dunes and resort strip of Mui Ne.

Ride 30 km on wide asphalt roads that parallel the ocean. Stop for a lunch break in front of the historic Ke Ga Lighthouse, the oldest lighthouse in Vietnam. In the afternoon, push on for another 20 km through quiet fishing communities and dragon fruit orchards until you arrive at the laid-back beach town of La Gi.

Begin your final riding day following the coast from La Gi towards Binh Chau. Cycle 40 km on exceptionally flat, smooth coastal roads that wrap through the shaded canopy of the Phuoc Buu Nature Reserve. Keep an eye out for local sheep farms along the fields. Gather for a celebratory lunch near Ba Ria to mark the end of the physical cycling journey. Pack up the bikes and sit back in the support van for a 2-hour transfer back into the heart of Ho Chi Minh City.
