Morning: Meet your support crew in Hanoi at 7:30 AM. A private shuttle transfers you 50 km out of the busy city center to the Trung Ha Bridge in Son Tay to skip heavy highway traffic.

Cycling Route: Hop on your bike and ride along the scenic, rural dyke roads lining the banks of the Red River. You will pedal through tranquil rice fields, palm hills, and small northern villages.

Afternoon: Stop for an authentic local lunch in Phu Tho town. Continue riding on flat to undulating rural terrain, arriving in Yen Bai City by late afternoon.

Daily Distance: 80 km biking (plus 50 km morning vehicle transfer).

Meals & Lodging: Lunch & Dinner included; overnight at a comfortable local establishment like the Hoa Mai Hotel.

Morning: Enjoy an early breakfast before starting a highly demanding, hilly day. The support vehicle will transfer you past the heaviest commercial segments of Road 70.

Cycling Route: Unload the bikes near the mountain foothills and begin a steady climb toward Lao Cai city, tracking the Chinese border region. The scenery transforms beautifully into rolling green tea plantations and dense rainforest slopes.

Afternoon: Recharge with lunch at a local restaurant. The day culminates with a steep, magnificent 30 km continuous mountain ascent up the winding pass toward the old French hill-station of Sapa.

Daily Distance: 80 km biking (plus afternoon support vehicle assists on steep grades if needed).

Meals & Lodging: Breakfast & Lunch included; evening free to explore Sapa’s local food stalls. Overnight at a boutique hotel in Sapa.

Morning: At 8:30 AM, gear up for an immersive dive into the stunning Muong Hoa Valley.

Cycling Route: Enjoy a thrilling, scenic downhill ride from Sapa town deep into the terraced valley. You will ride on a mix of asphalt and single-track dirt trails right into Lao Chai and Ta Van villages, home to the Black H'mong and Red Dzao hill tribes.

Afternoon: Spend time exploring the villages, learning about traditional weaving, and chatting with locals. Face a challenging 12 km uphill climb back up to Sapa town, or catch a lift in the support van. Enjoy a completely free evening to relax or visit the Sapa Stone Church.

Daily Distance: 22 km biking.

Morning: Set off north from Sapa town toward the mist-shrouded Ta Phin village. This valley is famous for its massive limestone caves and the unique herbal bath cultures of the Red Dzao people.

Cycling Route: Cycle through deep river gorges and lush cornfields. After a short exploration of the village, enjoy a final 20 km downhill coastal run from the mountains down into Lao Cai city.

Afternoon: Celebrate the end of the cycling journey with lunch in Lao Cai. Pack the bikes securely onto the support vehicle and take the new Noi Bai - Lao Cai highway back to Hanoi, arriving at around 5:30 PM.

Daily Distance: 20 km biking (plus 290 km afternoon highway vehicle transfer).
