8:00 AM pick up from your hotel for a half-day tour of Vietnam’s capital city tour, including Ho Chi Minh’s mausoleum and traditional stilt house and the revered One-Pillar Pagoda. Pay visits to typical Vietnamese places of worship. Just before lunch, tour Vietnam’s first university, the thousand-year-old Temple of Literature. The afternoon is the time for you to test your bike to make sure you have a great and comfortable bike for the journey. Transfer out of the city, cycling along Duong River Dykes to visit Dong Ho painting villages and cycling to Pha Lai and loading to Halong Bay. Arrival in Halong bay late afternoon. After breakfast. Depart for Halong Bay cruising and Board a traditional wooden junk and begin your exploration of magical Halong Bay, one of Southeast Asia’s premier tourist destinations. An excellent, fresh seafood lunch will be served on the boat while cruising to the most beautiful areas in Halong for afternoon paddling. cruising will lead you through the most dramatic limestone formation, a giant cave, beaches and hidden lagoons. Afternoon Cycling from Gia Luan wharf to Cat Ba Island, visiting the national park, the central market and the fishing port Check in Hotel.
After breakfast free time for swimming on the beach. After lunch, we will cycle along the coastlines to Cat Hai island to take the public ferry back to Hai Phong. You can ride 15km on CatHai island before landing. Transfer to Hai Phong city overnight.
Transfer to Cat Bi Airport for departure to Ho Chi Minh City, Arrival and pick up to your hotel. Afternoon City tour of dynamic Ho Chi Minh City, still called Saigon by many locals, takes in the former Presidential Palace, the Notre Dame Cathedral, Old Saigon Post Office, a lacquerware factory and Thien Hau Pagoda in the City’s bustling Chinatown. Overnight in Saigon.
Leave the hotel at 8:00 am and shuttle to Vinh Long with a stop at a Bonsai garden at Trung Luong T intersection. Continue to Vinh Long and lunch at the restaurant of Cuu Long hotel. After lunch, turn left onto the main street and the river will be on your right. Ride towards Tra Vinh past the Village of Long Ho. After riding for 17 km, turn right toward Ba Ke on the dirt road and get across the local ferry to reach Ba Cang. Ride along the quiet countryside paved road until we get to highway 1, covering a total biking distance of 55 km. Shuttle from here to Can Tho and transfer to the hotel upon arrival. Dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight in Can Tho.
The morning takes a 2 hours boat cruise (bikes are left in our shuttle) along the lower part of the Mekong River (Hau Giang) visiting the busy floating markets of Cai Rang and one fruit garden. Leave the boat and pedal from this garden taking the Vong Cung well-paved countryside road with Arch-shape (My Khanh area) for about 30 km. The road is really shady with banana and green bamboo trees growing all the way long on 2 sides of the road, especially the Mekong River is blending its way on the left-hand side along with this road until we reach National Highway 91. From here, shuttle to Chau Doc with a short hike of 25 minutes into the Bang Lang Stock sanctuary to watch the lively activities of stocks coming back home for the night. After that, drive directly to Chau Doc and enjoy the sunset on the top of Sam Mountain. Overnight in Chau Doc.
After breakfast then take a speed boat trip to Cambodia (Phnom Penh ) Check out and check in border gates. Today you will take from 5 to 6 hours on boat, so today lunch is not included so please bring some with you. Arrival transfer to your hotel. Meet for a welcome dinner accompanied by your guide.
(approx. 35 km by bicycle) Explore this bustling city’s major sights by bike, including Wat Phnom, the Royal Palace and Silver Pagoda and the National Museum. In the afternoon cycle to the Independence Monument, Tuol Sleng Museum and Choeung Ek killing fields. Dinner at the local restaurant. O / N in Phnom Penh .
In the early morning, we check out the hotel and head towards Siem Reap port we pass through the floating village of Chong Khneas where we witness an entire bamboo village complete with homes, gas stations, schools, hairdressers, mountain, village and even karaoke bars floating on water! Arrival in Siem Reap late afternoon. In the evening you will be taken to a local restaurant for your first taste of Khmer cuisine…
On your first morning in Siem Reap we head out to begin our cycle exploration of these incredible temples. Today we will focus on the Small Circuit which features temple greats such as: the pyramid of Takeo, the jungle-clad Ta Prohm, made famous by the Hollywood blockbuster ‘Tomb Raider’; Sras Srang, known as the King’s bathing pond; and the impressive Royal City of Angkor Thom, where you will find the Bayon, a temple famed for its many gigantic carved faces smiling beguilingly down at you. You will also visit other important sites in this immense walled city. After lunch, it is time to take on the majestic Angkor Wat, the world’s largest religious building. After being initially inspired by its overall size you will explore it in more detail, getting up close and personal to fully appreciate its architecture and intricately detailed bas-reliefs. After returning to the hotel you are free at leisure to experience Siem Reap’s nightlife which includes many fine restaurants and lively bars.

Through the suburbs, you are leaving Vientiane in the northern direction. Our first section of riding takes us along one of the quietest sealed roads in Asia, over a mountain pass. After a few kilometers on road 10, you cycle on dirt roads from village to village and discover the real countryside. Another descent will bring you to the scenic valley. From here it’s an easy ride to the former capital of Laos and World Heritage town Luang Prabang, located on a peninsula between the Mekong and Nam Khan River. Luang Prabang is on this bike tour the perfect place for a few days relaxing or discovering the scenic area around town.
After breakfast, begin a full-day boat trip on the mighty Mekong River to visit the Pak Ou Caves with their lacquered Buddha statues. Then make a visit to the village of Ban Phanom where traditional Lao textiles are woven on ancient wooden looms & the paper-making factory. Visit the former Royal capital, Luang Prabang, the crown jewel of the ancient Lane Xang Empire (pronounced ‘lane sang’ – the Land of a Million Elephants). Visit Wat Visoun, the site of the impressive Thad Makmo stupa. The rounded dome is stylistically more Sinhalese than Lao. Phou Sii hill stands right in the center of this small city. Climb its 350 steps to enjoy commanding views for many miles in each direction. Wat Phu Sii sits atop the mountain, alongside the skeletons of Indochina war anti-aircraft guns! Then continue to visit Wat Mai. Built-in 1796, the five-tiered roof of the wooden Sim (chapel) emphasizes the graceful Luang Prabang architectural style. Wat Xieng Thong is considered to emphasize & characterize the uniqueness of Luang Prabang’s local style: its several roofs sweep low to the ground. See also the impressive “tree of life” mosaic here. The gilt panel on the exterior of the chapel depicts semi-erotic episodes from the Ramayana; visit the National Museum, which was once a king’s palace. Displayed inside is a collection of personal artifacts of the former royal family, including photos, musical instruments, and many gifts received from dignitaries of foreign countries.
