Starting in Hanoi, We cycle to the World heritage of Halong Bay, Cat Ba island and ride the amazing through Ninh Binh - Cuc Phuong National park and via Ho Chi Minh mountain trails to Mai Chau.

Day 1: Hanoi – But Thap Pagoda – Halong City ( L )

Cycling Distance: ~35 km (Flat, rural roads)

Vehicle Transfer: ~120 km (From Bac Ninh to Halong City)

The Route: 8:00 AM pick up from your hotel and leave the chaotic traffic of Hanoi by vehicle or cross the Long Bien Bridge to hit the dikes of the Duong River. Cycle along peaceful village paths to But Thap Pagoda, one of Vietnam's oldest and finest Buddhist architectural gems. After exploring the pagoda and having lunch, your support vehicle will transfer you along Highway 18 straight to Halong City to rest up for the bay crossing.

Day 2: Halong City – Tuan Chau – Cat Ba Island ( B, L )

Cycling Distance: ~20 km (Hilly, scenic coastal and jungle terrain)

Water Crossing: Ferry from Tuan Chau to Gia Luan Pier (Cat Ba)

The Route: Bike from your hotel to Tuan Chau Harbor to catch the morning ferry to northern Cat Ba Island. Upon landing at Gia Luan Pier, you will cycle the spectacular, rolling spine road slicing directly through Cat Ba National Park. Expect a few short, punchy climbs surrounded by limestone karsts before descending into Cat Ba Town for an evening by the harbor.

Day 3: Cat Ba Island – Hai Phong – Ninh Binh (B, L )

Cycling Distance: ~25 km (Flat, rural valley tracks)

Vehicle Transfer: ~130 km (From Hai Phong port to Ninh Binh)

The Route: Take an early morning cycling along the coastlines to Cat Hai island and take local ferry from Cat Ba back to the mainland (Hai Phong). Your support van will transport you away from the industrial delta traffic toward Ninh Binh. Swap the van for your saddle in the afternoon to weave through the jaw-dropping limestone amphitheaters of Tam Coc and the Hoa Lu Ancient Capital, riding primarily on flat, unpaved village lanes away from cars.

Day 4: Ninh Binh – Cuc Phuong National Park ( B , L, D )

Cycling Distance: ~65 km (Flat to gently rolling foothills)

The Route: Today is an entirely active cycling day. Ride west from the tourist center of Tam Coc toward Cuc Phuong National Park. You will pedal down quiet backcountry tarmac roads flanked by pineapple plantations and dramatic jagged peaks. Enter the national park jungle and complete the final 20 km paved road under a dense canopy leading to the park center. visit Ancient People's Cave

Day 5: Cuc Phuong – Mai Chau Valley ( B, L, D )

Cycling Distance: ~50 - 80 km (Challenging mountain riding)

Vehicle Transfer: ~40 km (To skip heavy highway sections near Hoa Binh)

The Route: Wake up to the sounds of the jungle. Use the support vehicle to transfer past the rougher highway legs toward the mountain roads leading to the Mai Chau region. Mount your bike to tackle the scenic backroads of the northwestern highlands, featuring rolling valleys and a stunning winding descent into the emerald-green rice paddies of the White Thai ethnic minority villages (Lac and Poom Coong villages).

Day 6: Mai Chau Valley – Hanoi ( B. L )

Cycling Distance: ~35 km (Flat, leisurely valley loops)
Vehicle Transfer: ~110 km (Back to Hanoi)
The Route: Spend your final morning enjoying a relaxing loop walk through the local stilt-house villages and terraced fields of the Mai Chau valley. It’s a fantastic opportunity to see rural farming life up close. Transfer to the top of Thong Khe pass and cycling to Hoa Binh via Trung Hoa bridge and alomg Thung Nai to Hoa Binh for lunch and after lunch, pack up the bikes and board your private transport for the smooth 2.5-hour drive back up and arriving back in Hanoi by afternoon. End the tour at your hotel.
