Day 1: Arrive Hanoi (D)

The trip starts in Hanoi, the busy capital of Vietnam. After arriving at the airport, a transfer takes guests to a hotel in the city center. The afternoon includes a trip briefing and a bike-fitting session to make sure the bikes are comfortable for the long ride. In the evening, there is free time to explore the city and end the day with a glass of local draft beer (Bia Hoi) at dinner. Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 2: Hanoi – Mai Chau – Puluong (95km cycling) (B,L,D)

Leaving the busy city for the quiet countryside, a car transfer goes to Mai Chau. From there, the cycling begins on an old supply road of the Ho Chi Minh Trail. The path goes up and down gently through a beautiful river valley, heading towards Hoi Xuan and finishing in the green forests of the Pu Luong Nature Reserve. Day 3 : Puluong – Ngoc Lac (80km cycling) (B,L,D)

The ride leaves the forests of Pu Luong and moves onto hillier roads. Luckily, the whole 80-kilometer section is fully paved with asphalt, making it easier to keep a steady speed. The route passes by quiet farms and small villages before arriving in the town of Ngoc Lac. Overnight in Ngoc Lac

Day 4: Ngoc Lac – Kim Lien – Vinh (80km cycling) (B,L,D)

The journey continues on the new, two-lane sections of the Ho Chi Minh Highway. The wide roads offer a great cycling experience on the way to Kim Lien village, the hometown of President Ho Chi Minh. After a historical visit there, the route leaves the mountains and goes down to the coastal city of Vinh. Overnight in Vinh city close to the beach.

Day 5: Vinh – Dong Loc – Huong Khe (85 km cycling) (B,L,D)

Cycling to visit Dong Loc was a strategic road T-junction at the beginning of the Ho Chi Minh trail which was extensively bombed by American forces during the Vietnam War. Drive back up onto the Ho Chi Minh Highway and cycle along the increasingly mountainous highways to Huong Khe. Overnight in Huong Khe.

Day 6: Huong Khe – Phong Nha (90km cycling) (B,L,D)

This is one of the most beautiful days of the tour. Riding on a very quiet section of the Ho Chi Minh Trail, cyclists are surrounded by high mountains. The road goes up, down, and along green hillsides with almost no cars around. The hard work pays off upon reaching the famous Phong Nha National Park. Overnight in Phong Nha

Day 7: Phong Nha – Camlo – Khe Sanh (80km cycling) (B,L,D)

Take a smoother cycle on the Ho Chi Minh Trail to Cam Lo before transferring to Khe Sanh near the Laos border. The Battle of Khe Sanh began on January 21, 1968, when forces from the People’s Army of North Vietnam (PAVN) carried out a massive artillery bombardment on the U.S. Overnight in Khe Sanh.

Day 8: Khe Sanh – Aluoi (85km cycling) (B,L,D)

After a beautiful ride to the Khe Sanh combat base, the journey moves to the rough, quiet southern parts of the Ho Chi Minh Trail. The roads here are very hilly and require good fitness. The route goes straight through the A Luoi area, a place with a lot of war history from the 1960s, including the Battle of A Shau. Overnight in Aluoi .

Day 9: Aluoi – Hue (60km cycling) (B,L)

The ride cut across the trail to Hue, due to the bad roads south of Aluoi. Hue is the capital of Thừa Thiên Huế Province in central Vietnam and was the capital of Đàng Trong from 1738 to 1775 and of Vietnam during the Nguyễn Dynasty from 1802 to 1945. The city served as the administrative capital for the Nguyễn dynasty and later functioned as the administrative capital of the protectorate of Annam during the French Indochina period. explore dinner on your own. Day 10: Hue (no cycling) (B)

This is a rest day with no cycling. Instead, there is a relaxing sightseeing trip around Hue. The tour visits the famous Forbidden Purple City, followed by a quiet boat ride on the Perfume River to see the beautiful Thien Mu Pagoda. Overnight in Hue.

Day 11: Hue – Hoi An (100km cycling) (B,L)

Starting from the hotel, the ride goes to Thuan An beach and climbs the Phuc Tuong pass. After loading the bikes into the car for a quick drive to Lang Co beach for lunch, the famous Hai Van Pass awaits. The hard climb up the mountain is followed by a long, fun ride down to Da Nang. A final car transfer brings everyone to the old town of Hoi An. Overnight in Hoi An.

Day 12: Hoi An – My Son – Hoi An (35km cycling) (B,D)

Ride out of Hoi An town to My Son, on scenic country back roads passing paddy fields, villages and through eucalyptus forest and lush jungle along the Song Tranh River.  Transfer back to Hoian. Afternoon free to explore Hoian on your own. Farewell dinner with group and support team.  Overnight in Hoi An.

Day 13: Hoi An – Danang (Departure) (B)

After a relaxing last breakfast, there is free time until a car transfer goes to the Da Nang airport for departing flights. Guests can also choose to stay longer in Hoi An if they want.End The Tour.
